    Warranty procedure

    In the event that you experience a problem with your drive within 36 months you will need to contact our Warranty Department at 813-925-7127 Please have your invoice and serial numbers readily available.

    If you experience a problem with two weeks of purchase, Sterndrive Engineering, Inc. (SEI) will issue a call tag to pick up the drive. If it is beyond two weeks, you will be responsible for shipping the drive back to SEI. International customers are responsible for all shipping charges to and from SEI. Be SURE to fully insure your drive with your carrier for its full value.

    Please send your drive to SEI in two halves (where applicable). Do not send any additional parts with your drive (example: prop, anodes or other miscellaneous hardware) as SEI can not be responsible for it.

    SEI ships via ground service for all its warranted products. Request(s) to expedite shipments are the responsibility of the customer, along with any associated charges where applicable.

    Upon receipt of the warranted unit, SEI will either repair or replace the product. Refunds will not be given for products assembled or installed by any person, party or company other than SEI.

    SEI will not ship a replacement drive until the warranted unit has been received and inspected.

    If you ship a complete sterndrive to SEI (upper and lower in a single container), it will be shipped back to you in two boxes.

    SEI commits to make every effort to ship your replacement drive within 5-7 business days of receiving the warranty unit. If it will be more than a week SEI will contact you.
