Change Gears?

I have an Alpha Gen II, serial # OW873462. It's stamped a 1:62 ratio. I would like to change the gear ratio to 1:50, what is needed, do I need to change the driveshafts as well (different number of teeth, etc)?

You just need to change the gears, and the lower bearing on the driven gear. Everything else is the same. It is a good idea, the 1.50 is alot stronger than the 1.62.
