I read the break in proceedure tag on my new SE 106 upper&lower unit. One quick question. During this break in period is it ok to idle the boat around for hours (I like to troll for salmon) and not count the hours of idle as part of the break-in.
Or do I have to run the boat per the break in proceedure before I can idle for hours. I typically run 1-5 miles from dock then troll at 800 rpm's for 1-6 hours fishing.
