I have a 20 ft formula I just builg a 350 twin turbo have 550 hp dyno test I havent put the engine on the bot yeat [now I have a alpha drive 1:50 gear ratio I want to install a lower gear like 1:37 that work better o no ???

Alpha drives are only rated for a maximum of 300HP. You really need a Bravo One XR drive to handle your horsepower.

The Bravo One is available in different ratios, contact a Mercury dealer to see what is available. Again, I recommend getting the XR series.
