se106 drive shaft

1989 alpha 1 gen 1. purchased a new se106. my old drive shaft had only 2 O rings. new one has 3 O rings. I s this shaft still going to work?
any one please let me know.

The newer style shafts have an oring towards the front for greasable engine couplers. If you do not have a grease zerk on your coupler you don't need to install the oring. The shaft is the same as your old one other than the third oring.
