Has the factory addressed the overheating and knocking issues seen in these threads?

Just wondering if the overheating issues and/or the knocking noises I have seen in these threads is a concern and if so what the factory has done about it to eliminate these problems moving forward. Just curious before I buy the unit. I live in the Northeast and I don't want to have to send the unit back for overheating or the knocking noise since there have been questions concerning both. Can you address both please? Thanks for your support.

The u-joint problem and the overheating have both been addressed. They were not issues on all drives but only a relative few. We strive for zero defects, but as in any large production, you occasionally have a problem.

Were the units with the defect replaced under warranty?

Every warranty issue is addressed to solve the problem. We either repair or replace as the circumstance dictates.
