Thanks Folks, I ordered a SE106 lower unit on Sunday and Fed Ex tried to deliver on Thursday, amazing. Product was well packaged and contained gaskets and hardware. I couldn't ask for more.
Questions about the warranty:
My boat stays overboard most all year. I pull twice/yr to clean and general maint. and then right back over. The water is salty, (southern Chesapeak Bay, Va) therefore I use additional antifouling paints on the outdrive and prop. Specificlly, I use the Trilux 33 antifouling paint suitable for aluminum. Will this practice be an issue with the warranty?
I would also like to mount a SE Sport Hydrofoil fin to the lower unit to help cavitation and handling properties. This would require 4 holes to be drilled in the new lower unit. Will this void the warranty?
