adapter for cobra

Will SEI outdrives adapte to OMC housings. I have a 5.8 1991 cobra and have heard that a merc may bolt up. Thanks

It will not bolt up, although the transom cutout is the same. You could convert, but that would require a new transom assembly as well as all of the engine componets such as the flywheel, exhaust system shift brackets etc.
