Hi I was wanting to know if a gen 1 from 120 GM will work on 898 with a up in prop pitch or will there need to be ratio change ?

You will definately want to change the ratio. The 120 drive is a 1.98 where an 898 would take a 1.5 ratio. Even if you could find a prop to get the rpm's right, you would destroy the weak gears in a hurry.
