Hello,
I installed and broke in a new lower unit. Replacing the gear lube at 10 hours I found water in it. Lube is milky.
What to do?
Thanks,
Dean

You should pressure check the drive to see if you have a seal leak.Make sure your vent and fill plugs are screwed in tight. If the pressure check shows a leak then seperate the upper and lower and pressure check each individually to find which one. If you do not have a pressure leak then inspect the u-joint bellows and the large squared oring for the bell housing for any sign of water getting in.
