Install Kit Gasket

Why is there an extra hole in the gasket that comes in this kit 95-106-01? The one with the red circle around it. Can I use the quicksilver gasket without the extra hole?

The hole in the gasket with the red seal ring around it is for units that have a remote oil reservoir. If your bell housing has no corresponding hole you can use the gasket as is. You may also use the Quicksilver gasket with no hole. If your bell housing has a hole and you do not have a remote oil reservoir then you need to make sure it is blocked off when using the SEI gasket.
