Thanks for saving me a ton of dough!!! My merc apha 1 siezed in May, and the repair shop told me a reconed Merc would cost me $3200.00 installed, I only paid $3500.00 for the boat in Jan! So after looking at some used units and deciding that was not an option I found SE and decided that was the best option. Total cost to after have the shop install it was $1400.00, a far cry from the original price. I am now doing the 20hr service and have not had any probs. In fact, the shop that installed (a merc dealer) was also highly impressed with your unit as well!

Just a follow up. I was amazed at the difference the new outdrive made. My boat now runs better then when I bought it! It starts easier, has a higher top speed and just seems to run smoother. Again Thanks!!!!!
