Pennzoil Sterndrive Lube Question

In your experience is Pennzoil Hi Vis 80W-90 Lower Unit and Sterndrive lube acceptable for use in your drives?

We recommend Mercruisers high performance gearlube. That is what we use in all of our testing.

With that said, I'm sure that the pennzoil oil will be okay. Just keep an eye on it. If it starts to smell or look burnt change it.

You should also change the oil every season or every 100 hours, whichever comes first. Personally I would change it every 50 hours
