hi, was greaseing gimble bearing and saw grease come
from bottom of tolerance ring, is that normal or could
the gimble bearing be pushed in to far passing the
the gimble houseing grease hole? i lined up
the hole on the houseing to the one on the bearing.

If you keep putting grease in, does it eventually come out the bearing? As long as it does that, it should be fine. The bearing cannot be installed too far, as it has a hard stop that it should be up against.

It a little hard to describe without a picture, but it will come out around the sheild. If you only did 5 pumps, I would keep trying to put more in. If it just keeps coming out from around the bearing, then you will need to pull it and verify that the slot in the tolerance ring is lined up properly.

yes, comes out of the bearing and still a little
at the bottom of the tolerance ring.
