Control handle question

I'm thinking of installing a counter rotating lower unit in place of the current standard rotation Alpha I gen I on my '89 Sea Ray. I understand that I will have to reverse the connections at the engine control box. What I want to know is if the factory Quicksilver dual handle binnacle control box will allow me to reverse the connections to work with an SE106 counter rotating lower unit?

Merc offers a counter unit so I would say yes. A merc box should have that feature.
