Ran the boat static again today and the whine is pretty loud. It's coming from the pinion gears. There's metal in the oil. Since I had to force the the units together I may be getting to much load on the vertical drive shaft. I have thru the hull exhaust and can hear it above that and it's really loud in the engine compartment. I can feel it when putting my hand on the OD. Any suggestions? :cry: Xeno
