counter rotator

I am considering purchasing a 2003 evinrude 150 ficht 20" counter rotation. Can I replace the lower unit and turn it into a standard rotation motor? Do you know if I will need the driveshaft too? This is for a single engine boat.

If it is a single engine boat, then yes, you can put a standard roation on. You will need to buy a new prop though. Your driveshaft will work.
